Board Game Day and Lunar New Year
Dear Dojo Community,
Please mark your calendars Sat Feb 17 2:30-5pm to celebrate of Lunar New Year followed by a Board Game day.
We will ring in the Year of the Dragon with red money envelopes, lantern making, traditional greetings, and more.
For the board gaming, bringing your own game is optional but encouraged. Students who do so should be ready to give a quick summary of the game eg
Uno is a card game for 2 or more players.
You take turns dropping a card that matches the color or number of the last one. The first person who gets rid of all their cards is the winner.
Price per student:
- early bird (by Fri Feb 16): $10
- same-day registration: $12
- parents and grandparents: free
- guests: free for first time visitors (must sign dojo waiver), $10 after
Light snacks and drinks will be served.
Students do NOT need to wear karate uniforms.
Students are prohibited from using mobile devices during the event!
