Dojo Picnic Sat May 6
Dear Dojo Community,
Please mark your calendars for a special class and picnic event on Sat May 6th, 2023.
Time
10:30am – Push Up Contest
11:00am – Joint Class (all belts, kids and adults)
12 noon – Potluck Picnic
Location
Dearborn Park
17141 Nordhoff St, Northridge, CA 91325
next to Dearborn Elementary
Class
- all students – both kids and adults of all belts – will train together
- students should wear their full uniform (may change clothes after class)
- students may choose to train barefoot or wearing athletic shoes
- no sparring equipment required
Picnic
2 signup sheets will be posted to the dojo bulletin board – one for food, one for party supplies (eg folding table, shade, games, etc)
Carpooling
Parents who have scheduling conflicts are welcome to form carpools. The dojo community FB group at facebook.com/groups/dragonandcranedojo can be a useful resource for connecting to others.
Dojo assumes no responsibility for any incidents that may arise.
Dojo Closure
The dojo will be closed that day and normal classes cancelled.
There will be regular classes Friday before and Tuesday following.
